Hello everyone. Today, I'd like to introduce you to ChurchLatin.com, a very important apostolate website that recently came to my attention. Church Latin, led by Derek Bonnel, is an ambitious effort dedicated to the learning, study, and promotion of Ecclesiastical Latin via books and resources.Maximus Scriptorius Publications is the publishing arm of ChurchLatin.com. To quote Derek, "There exists a wealth of learning resources and reference materials for Classical Latin, but few for Ecclesiastical Latin. That is not to say that one cannot use materials created for the learning of Classical Latin for Ecclesiastical Latin, given that one knows the difference between the two. It is our intent to fill this "void in the market," so to speak."
In addition to its publishing company, ChurchLatin.com also offers free PDF downloads, rare used books, and links to other important resources, like Romanitas Press, and a brand new informative blog called "Deus Familia Labora."
