Two New Knott 1958 English Missal Requiem Altar Cards Released

Hello everyone. I hope you had a wonderful Easter holiday weekend and are refreshed and ready for another work week. Well, we have certainly been busy lately designing new altar cards for you. Our two latest designs are English Requiem Mass Altar Cards to celebrate the Tridentine Mass according to the 1958 Knott English Missal. These two sets are called "Botticelli Trinity" and "El Greco Christ At The Cross."

Now, we offer both Latin and English versions of these two designs.

Each set of altar cards is comprised of three cards: one large 12 x 18 inch center card and two smaller 12 x 8 inch side cards. Feel free to order them as prints, laminated, or beautifully framed. We frame our altar cards ourselves using ornate wood mouldings, UV-resistant acrylic glass, and acid-free foamcore. Lastly, a fine satin-like moire fabric is applied to the backs for a formal finished look on the altar.

To place an order or to review our wide selection of Latin and English High, Low, and Requiem Altar Cards, please visit us any time on our business website at, www.myriadcreativeconcepts.com.

Botticelli "Trinity" Latin Requiem Altar Cards Just Released

Good morning everyone. Today, Holy Saturday of 2010, it seems fitting to release our brand new design of Roman Catholic Latin Requiem Altar Cards named "Botticelli Trinity." This is our third design in what we call our Artist Series of Latin Requiem Altar Cards featuring some of the most beautiful works of history's most famous painters.

Sandro Botticelli was an influential 15th Century Italian artist whose work inspired many artists who would follow. On this design, we could have added several examples of his beautiful paintings. We decided not to because often, less is more. With only the striking image of his "Trinity" painting, we feel that, graphically, it draws the viewer in to the sobering effects of the image. I can only imagine what it would be like to stand in the museum and view this painting in person.

Like our recently released El Greco altar cards, this set has type fonts reminiscent of 15th Century European fonts. The layout is precise, practical, and thorough. We have included the Aufer, Oramus, Supplices, and Corpus Tuum prayers often not found on altar cards but useful to have.

Each set contains three cards: one 12 x 18 inch center card and two 12 x 8 inch side cards. On our website, feel free to choose from prints, laminated or framed options.

That's it for now. Have a wonderful, blessed Easter everyone. Thanks for stopping by.
